St. Lucie County Holds Airport Master Plan Workshop Feb. 1

The St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners will hold a workshop on the proposed Airport Master Plan alternatives on Monday, Feb. 1 from 6 -8 p.m. in the County Commission Chambers on Virginia Avenue.
The consultants, LPA Group, will make a presentation on the Airport Master Plan process and the alternatives being considered to guide the development of the St. Lucie County International Airport over the next 20 years. The recommendations of the Airport Master Plan Technical Advisory Committee, an advisory group appointed by the Board of County Commissioners with business, environmental, community and agency representatives, will also be presented at the workshop. St. Lucie County Commissioners are holding the workshop to obtain public comments on the proposed alternatives.
Information on the Airport Master Plan can be obtained by visiting the airport webpage www.stlucieco.org/airport and clicking on the Airport Master Plan tab on the left side of the page. Input on the plan may be made by clicking on Airport Master Plan Update Comments and filling in the information requested.
